Tea tree essential oil is an anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and helps with acne. We use melt and pour soap base in this recipe so you do not have to worry about handling lye. Essentially, all you have to do is melt down the base, add the charcoal, essential oil, and the CBD oil. But let’s dive in to the details!

  • 40 oz hemp melt and pour soap
  • 10 g activated charcoal
  • 1.2 oz tea tree essential oil
  • 1 oz CBD coconut oil
  • soap loaf mold

Melt down 40 oz of melt and pour soap using a crockpot, microwave, or a double boiler if you have one. Make sure to stir constantly, so the soap base does not burn. Once it’s melted, add in activated charcoal, tea tree essential oil, & CBD coconut oil. Stick your stick blender or hand mixer all the way to the bottom of the jar and turn it on, so nothing goes flying. Mix it up and down, until everything is fully mixed together. Then, pour it into your soap loaf mold or whichever mold you decided to use for this recipe.

Leave it in the soap mold for 12 – 24 hours. After time is up, pop the soap out of the mold, cut them, & enjoy your activated charcoal soap bars!
